Steps towards outcomes:
- Following instructions – consider any specifics around sensory impairment
- Communication, language and literacy (giving attention to others, listening to others, responding and asking questions, mark making, early reading)
- Numeracy – counting, comparing, addition, subtraction etc
- Adapting to new environments because transitions have been carefully planned and personalised when needed
- Playing and socialising with other children, taking turns
- Real world play (builder / nurse / shopkeeper / café worker etc)
- Confident to try new activities and explain why they like some more than others
