We have worked closely with colleagues from SEND Commissioning, health, social care and parent carers to see how our SEND & Inclusion Strategy 2019 could reflect a more holistic approach to supporting children and young people with SEND. Following feedback, we have incorporated elements of the Joint Commissioning Strategy, in particular broadening our understanding of health and social care and how we need to better listen to and meet the needs of our children and young people with SEND.
