Autumn 2020

The autumn term SEND Leadership Forum was held online. The following topics were discussed during the session.

  • The use of nationally published local authority and school based contextual data and how this can help you to evaluate your schools inclusion and SEND practices. Please see the embedded videos on this page for further information.
  • An introduction on the Ordinarily Available Inclusive Practice (OAIP) guide, Inclusion Framework and Tools for Schools. These resources have been developed by schools and settings as part of the SEND and Inclusion strategy. A 10 minute video can be found on Tools for Schools for further information.

The following e-modules were produced by the SEND & Inclusion Advisory Team following the launch of the SENCO Leadership Forums in October 2020. ‘Exploring Inclusion’ is an introduction to the concept of inclusive practice. There are also two modules suggesting how to use published data and step-by-step guidance is available for accessing all data sources.
